Endowment

Establishing an endowment is a big lift for a small non-profit like the Hub, and we're thankful that our community worked together to achieve this goal in 2024. Thanks to our community of donors and a matching grant from the Community Foundation of Bloomington and Monroe County, the Mother Hubbard's Cupboard Endowment is live and growing.

 

An endowment will provide a permanent source of revenue, as donations to the fund grow over time through investing. These permanent funds will alleviate some of the annual fundraising pressure, allowing us to focus on what we do best: build community over shared food. And while we do that, our friends at the Community Foundation apply their expertise to manage the fund on our behalf.
 

As with all we do here at the Hub, your support will make all the difference. Your gift today helps increase access to healthy food in our community for years to come.
